Every set starts with listening. I read the room before I play the first track, and from there it's a conversation between me and the crowd. I don't come with a fixed plan. I come with a deep library, a lot of instinct and the intention to build something that feels right in that exact moment.

I'm Ben Paul, a house DJ and producer from Vienna with over 400k streams across my music. I started DJing because I loved the feeling of a room that moves together, and everything I've built since then comes from that same place.

As resident DJ and part of the team behind SOUL., Vienna's house music dayparty series, I help shape events that feel like more than just another party. Spaces where the music is the main character and people actually connect through it.

Venues like Volksgarten Pavillon, Palais Auersperg and Aurora Rooftop have become home to exactly that. For me it's never been about choosing between credibility and accessibility. I want music that has real depth but still pulls people onto the floor without them thinking about it.

House first. Always adaptable.

House is my foundation. It's what I produce, what I collect, what I play when I have full creative freedom. But I've never been the type to stick rigidly to one lane.

My sets move between deep, rolling grooves, afro house warmth, melodic layers and tighter minimal tech or tech house moments depending on the mood and the crowd. What stays consistent is the energy. I want every set to feel intentional. Not random, not predictable, but like it's going somewhere.

For clubs, rooftops and selected private events I also step outside the house world entirely when the setting calls for it, whether that's 80s, disco or anything that fits the room. The music always serves the moment, not the other way around.
